From a manual Nikon F film camera to todays latest digital technology, my desire and passion for photography has been the same for the last 37 years, to document the beauty of our world, whether manmade or in its natural state.  The image still must be created with your eye and passion for the scene.  Just think, Ansel Adams didn't have a 12 megapixel camera, a 4 GB memory card and a vibration reduction lens.  He hiked around with a wooden tripod, an 8X10 camera with sheet film, but his vision and passion made those classic images.  We photograph the world with our eyes, our tools are just that, "tools".  We're so fortunate today to have all this high technology equipment, but the bottom line is you still must capture the shot with your eye.  The technology just reproduces this vision.

My images tend to dominate my coastal travels East and West, but my recent and upcoming travels are taking me to the deserts, mountains, and canyons of our great scenic country.
